Be Consistently Inconsistent

We have all grown up having bad habits. Mine were biting my nails, sitting too close to the tv, and throwing my clothes on the ground instead of hanging them up when I got home. These were habits I did so often, I didn't even realize I did them. Even though I didn't realize my habits were habits, the effect starting coming from the cause. I got sick from germs because I bit my nails. Now I have terrible eye sight because I didn't listen to my dad when he told me to back up from the tv. And I also go all week stepping all over my clothes, books, and bags because I'm just too lazy to actually put them away. When I thought of the phrase "consistency is key", I thought of productive consistency such as participating in a study group two days out of the week or going to the gym regularly or even drinking eight bottles of water a day. Whatever it may be, consistency isn't always a good thing. Those bad habits we have become immune to us and we become oblivious to those particular habits. We become consistent in being consistently ignorant. Ignorant to how we are hindering ourselves from becoming the successful person we want to be. We consistently go out to parties on the weekend when we know we have hella work to do. We consistently let people control where we go and what we participate in because we don't want them to see us and cause a scene. We consistently blame others for the issues in our lives instead of taking action for ourselves. We consistently say we "love God", yet haven't picked up a bible or said a prayer since baby Sunday School. The consistency of bad habits will continue to be a gateway to a life that we don't want. We have to change our ways. Our lifestyle. Piece by piece. There will be a change in yourself, the company you keep, and the evolution of

your life. Be consistently, inconsistent with your bad habits.
